Hong Kong based sex toy company recorded users’ remote sex sessions without their knowledge

Internet of things ( IOT) are amazing and they can help people tasks. Although IOT are useful, on the other side, some IOT can make you to annoy. Hong Kong based sex toy company recorded users’ remote sex session and a reddit user pointed out this hidden task.

Now, the company announced that it is minor bug. Lovense remote control vibrator app recorded user’s audio in the app’s local folder and the sound was six minutes long. Although the app recorded user’s sex session and sound in app folder, the app didn’t sent users’ data to the company’s server.

This minor bug is only affected to the Android users and now the company made an update for this bug. So, the latest cache file will be automatically deleted in the latest version of app.
