This week, Nexus partner company Observe.AI announced their $26M Series A funding.

In the last decade, we’ve witnessed remarkable advances in voice AI seamlessly

reaching consumers through most notably Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple’s Siri. However, there’s been less progress in the methods that enterprises use to handle voice workflows, even though voice remains by far the most widely used and trusted mode of business interaction with customers, partners or employees alike.

We at Nexus believe that has to change in today’s AI-enabled era, and that Observe.AI is a harbinger of that change.

When we first met Swapnil, his intensity of purpose and product-first mindset instantly caught our attention. That was aptly complemented by the superlative coding chops of his cofounder Akash and go-to-market skills of his cofounder Sharath. Their vision of leveraging AI to automate, augment and enhance voice customer service resonated with us. We joined hands in pursuit of realizing that vision by leading their seed round in 2018.

Observe.AI’s first year of go-to-market has been extremely encouraging with customers across the world adopting their voice AI platform. Voice customer service is a multi-hundred billion dollar market waiting to be disrupted with intelligence and automation. We are just getting started!
