NFT life feels like showing up to work every day:

-Log On

-Say GM

-Procrastinate

-Make Attempt to Be Productive

-Chat with Frens

-Wen Break?

-Repeat

That means Twitter is The Office.

What if The Office characters were NFT collectors?

Dwight: He’s been in Bitcoin since 2011 when he bought 5 BTC and has been telling everyone about it since. He makes sure to get on every whitelist and tell you about it after the mint has happened. Dwight then tries to rent seek like he did when he bought several Princess Unicorns that one Christmas.

Andy: Andy found out about NFTs last summer and went hard into Super Yetis. He bought like 5 of them. He also bought Doge at the top in May and is just waiting till it hits $1.00. Every day he retweets 50 different Ape giveaway tweets in the hopes that this one will be the “real” giveaway.

Creed: No one knows how Creed got into NFTs, he just kind of showed up one day. He only purchases NFTs based in foreign countries or that are so obscure no one can find them on OS. Creed also sends out multiple tweets a day about his personal life that make people feel uncomfortable.

Pam: Pam is one of the best follows on NFT Twitter; she mints the best art and boosts others in the space. Because she went to art school, Pam has an eye for NFTs that most don’t. Pam sometimes subtweets Dwight … Dwight never picks up on it.

Erin: There is one category of NFT that Erin buys: any cute/fluffy/animal JPEG. She then tells everyone to also buy cute animal JPEGs. She accidentally minted a BAYC but sold immediately after mint. She thinks NGMI stands for Not Gonna Mint It.

Kevin: Kevin only buys Top Shot moments that are long shots. One-time last summer he bought 100 Cedi Osman and 100 Austin Rivers Moments … just in case. He’s also the only person that ever bought an NFT from Creed’s collection.

Stanley: Stanley FUDs everything, but he FUDs the NFTs he owns the most. He chuckles when others buy into projects he thinks are awful. However, the one day he sells something for profit… well that’s like Pretzel Day.

Angela: Angela has an affinity for any type of NFT with Cats. She retweets her Cat NFTs several times a day, she’s only friends with others who have Cat NFTs, and she tweets every time there’s a Cat NFT sold. She keeps saying Cats will moon! Cats will moon!

Ryan: Ryan is in 137 Discords and has become a Discord mod for 15 different projects. He is constantly shilling his next big NFT. He thinks that ____ is going to be insane! He tries to make every whitelist and has hit the 1,000,000-tweet mark.

Jim: Jim is risk averse and likes basketball. Jim owns one kind of NFT: Top Shot. Jim tweets about Top Shot and owns all 76ers moments. Jim also found his way into NFL All Day Beta. He might try to go for UFC Strike, but he’s not sure yet. Jim also retweets many of Pam’s art pieces.

And finally…

Michael: Michael has bought into 10 different rug pulls; he keeps telling himself it won’t happen again. Michael also bought an Invisible Friend because it reminds him of his childhood. Michael minted a Doodle but then tweeted out his Secret Recovery Phrase in order to win a “giveaway” and lost it. Michael’s convinced though, he’s just one project away from retiring.

Years from now, they’ll all look back.

They’ll remember their journey fondly, joke about their NFT mishaps, and remember the most important thing:

It was never about the NFTs but the friends they made along the way.
