Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte
School: Charlotte Position: DT Class: Senior Height: 6–2 Weight: 304 lbs Projected Draft Round: 3–6
“Scouts do not often rave over the build of 300-pound-plus defensive linemen but Ogunjobi is perfectly suited for run-stuffing duties with his squatty 6-foot-2 1/2, 304-pound frame, which includes a fire hydrant-like lower half.” — Rob Rang
Extremely well built anchor that holds up very well against the run, and controls his gaps. The exciting aspect to his game is his surprising ability to play as a one gap, penetrating defensive tackle. Money is made for defensive tackles, in general, with their ability to get to the quarterback, and if he can continue to show this ability through the combine and with workouts, he could find himself moving into round 3 consideration.
