As most of you might already know, Jump.trade, a gaming NFT marketplace, is set to release its first-ever NFT drop named Super Loot in mid-April. For those who are not aware, Jump.trade is an integral part of the world’s first NFT based cricket game that has been developed by GuardianLink, a company famous for its association with the Bollywood icon “Big B” Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT collections. The official website of the marketplace was launched earlier in March, and it has already given promises through an immersive user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). As per the company’s announcement, the NFT drop would be attractive to cricket fans, gaming enthusiasts, and NFT collectors. And those are the three perspectives that we are going to look into about the upcoming drop event in this blog.

From a Cricket Fan’s Perspective

Average cricket fans would have a lot of enthusiasm for the sport and be fans of a cricketing team or a player. More geeky fans would go deeper by following almost all the possible games and being up-to-date with the latest cricketing action and events. For such fans, the announcement about an upcoming NFT cricket game would be exciting and confusing at the same time since some of them might not be aware of NFTs yet. But, with enough information, they could well get excited about the prospect of owning cricket collectibles and playing a good digital game of cricket after a long time. Furthermore, the possibility of earning money playing such games strengthens their wait for the NFT collection drop from the Jump.trade platform. This is since the current economic situation is not supportive enough for most people to provide employment that yields enough monetary benefits to run their daily lives.

From a Professional Gamer’s Perspective

Gaming has become a profitable profession in less than a decade, particularly after the global pandemic halted the whole world. The gaming community is widespread across the globe, with most of the gamers in developed nations and some developing countries. Professional gamers in developing countries might hit you as a surprise. Still, blockchain play-to-earn games such as Axie Infinity have been earning money for people in countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Brazil. Some players of such games have even left their other full-time jobs and become professional gamers as the income generated through gaming is higher than paid work. For such a gamer with or without enough knowledge of cricket, this can serve as another opportunity to play and earn, especially for someone who loves playing sporting video games. Such a gamer could easily become accustomed to the rules of the game, and so they can believe in the ripple the new game could create. Even if a player does not get the hang of the game, they can even sell the NFT they bought, and so, it would be correct to say a professional gamer would also get into the Super Loot drop’s waitlist.

From an NFT Collector’s Perspective

A typical NFT collector would have been in the NFT space for some time, with knowledge of the crypto world. NFT enthusiasts are spread all over the world, and platforms such as Discord unite them. Such an NFT enthusiast might love to own and brag about unique digital collectibles (HODLers) or look for profitable options so that they can carry out a buy-stock-sell operation. Any type of NFT collectors would gain massively from the upcoming Super Loot NFTs from Jump.trade — A sense of owning something rare or having something that can be sold later at a good profit. NFT enthusiasts have been hyping up major NFT projects after the success of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), and some have ended up achieving big feats in a short time. According to NFT pundits, the Jump.trade marketplace might be the first step towards creating such a famous society revolving around cricket.

What Could We Learn?

From all these different perspectives, one could clearly see that the probability of success for the upcoming Super Loot NFT drop from Jump.trade is very high. Since the NFT items in the drop would decide the path that the subsequent metaverse cricket game would take, excitement has been in the great amount on social media around the world. Also, the NFT drops mean different to different people, as we had seen above. So the drop event could be something that widens the supporter community for NFTs, particularly in South Asia.
