A.R.Rahman, the popular Indian film composer, record producer, singer, songwriter, and double Oscar winner, becomes the latest celebrity to join the Web3 revolution with his new metaverse project.
Titled “Katraar,” the fans’ favorite announced his venture on the metaverse through a Tweet with the caption “Get Intrigued 😊.” and an accompanying teaser video.
On getting into the website, users are required to signup with their email IDs. They can also subscribe to the platform by paying a fee, although anything more is yet to be revealed officially.
While the “Mozart of Madras” is the latest entrant to the Web3 space, other Indian celebrities like Kamal Hassan, Daler Mahendi, and Amitabh Bachchan have entered the space earlier. Amitabh Bachchan released exclusive NFTs of his works through BeyondLife.Club, an NFT marketplace.
