Creative Duality as a Mirror to Human Duality
Adam Martinakis is a contemporary artist of Polish and Greek descent. As a creator with over 20 years experience, he has had plenty of time to experiment and apply his skills to animations, digital sculptures, digital videos and new media. Adam is keen to explore his creative duality as he considers that we are all creations of duality.
In his art, the artist often appeals to images of depersonalized humans. He strips them of all distinctive features to draw the viewer’s attention entirely to the deeper meaning hidden in the symbols.
On NFT STARS, Adam presents one of his works called “Fragile Light” that visualizes the fragility of the human being in the vastness all around us. The piece shows how each of us is part of a never-ending story going on for tens and hundreds of years. The artist postulates that each person is made of exploded stars, that when and however the time comes, we too will explode and become the building material for new stars. But despite being a part of a bigger story, a human remains unique and lonely. The artwork will be put up for auction on 19th August at 10:00, with a starting price of 1 ETH. The bidding process will last 24 hours.
