Last week, we joined Trevor Jones’ Castle Party 2023 as official sponsors. We had the chance to open the doors of Buildtree’s technology and allow world-class artists to mint their artworks for the Alotta Money 1/1 charity auction.

Leandro Bellone, Federico Abascal, George Bileca, and Ivan Leis Vazquez from NFT Studios’ team were at the event, supporting all the artists live and sharing awesome moments with the NFT community.

Here’s a recap of our participation in the event and more details about what Buildtree is and how we help artists create their unique artworks with one of our latest Web3 products.

Castle Party 2023 Recap

On September 3–5, Web3 artist Trevor Jones hosted its iconic Bitcoin Angel Castle Party at the historical Château de Vallery, located on the outskirts of Paris.

Fusing art, history, technology, charity, and community, the event featured 31 notorious digital artists, including big names like Pak, Hackatao, Pascal Boyart, Jose Delbo, David Ariew, and more.

The main act during the event was the charity auction of 1/1 NFT artworks in memory of the late OG Crypto artist Philippe Fatoux (AKA Alotta Money).

Over $250K was raised from the auction hosted by MakersPlace, with 50% profit for cancer charity Maggie’s Edinburg organization, which provides free cancer support and information in centers across the UK and online.

At NFT Studios, we supported the event as sponsors and also provided Buildtree’s technology to allow each artist to mint and sell their artworks using custom smart contracts. Here’s how it worked:

Supporting Artists With Buildtree’s Technology

Buildtree is an ecosystem of Web3 products and tools that allows artists, creators, and brands to easily build, launch, showcase, and monetize NFT projects.

For Castle Party 2023’s 1/1 charity auction, we presented an early version of Buildtree that allowed artists to mint their artworks using their own smart contracts and different custom parameters set by the creators.

Buildtree offers users full ownership over the projects and smart contracts created with the platform. This provides creators with many benefits, like the possibility of launching their NFT collection on any marketplace, offering custom experiences to collectors, and setting on-chain royalties.

Most NFT marketplaces today offer users shared smart contracts to launch their NFT collections, which carries many restrictions and limits artists’ options to create innovative experiences.

Our goal is that Buildtree helps solve most of the issues and limitations minting platforms have today and also gives creators the freedom to experiment with crazy NFT projects without needing any technical knowledge or expertise.

One example of the endless possibilities that Buildtree offers artists and creators to explore the boundaries of NFT technology is the artwork “404” that Pak presented at the Castle Party 2023 charity auction. You can read more about this artwork here:

With Buildtree’s modular approach, artists will be able to give free rein to their creativity without limitations and launch NFT projects through a very user-friendly experience.
