We thought we’d share a quick snapshot of all the jetsetting the NFT3 team has been up to recently, even though you have likely been following the twitter (and if you haven’t, Follow Now!)
After the fundraise announcement where Animoca Brands led our round, as well as introducing the revolutionary idea of MetaID, we have been:
- Building out the MVP product, and
- Organically growing the InterStellars community
The aim of everything we do at NFT3 is to empower YOU, the user, in web3 and beyond. Keeping this in mind, we have been spreading the message of owning your identity at one of the biggest crypto event-laden weeks in recent times all the way in Dubai!

Attended Binance Blockchain Week and EthDubai
NFT3 was at Binance Blockchain Week and EthDubai!
Dubai is quickly becoming a hotspot for crypto buidlers from the world over, and this was a fantastic way to catch up with investors and advisers, many of whom were there as speakers, and to spread the word about NFT3 and MetaID.
Binance Blockchain Week and EthDubai were massive events, and a great opportunity to get more crypto enthusiasts to learn about NFT3.
Not only did Lead Narrator Shashwat Eternal attend and represent, he met with some incredible investors and potential partners.
Met Advisors and Strategised for the Future
Ryan Fang, Co-Founder, Ankr
One of the biggest sponsors of both Binance Blockchain Week as well as EthDubai were Ankr, and as our $ISME InterStellars already know, Ankr Co-founder Ryan Fang is also an NFT3 Advisor.😎
We met with Ryan for a SUPER insightful session about building user-first web3 products — more on this in a standalone article soon!
One of the gems he dropped: “Make something that matters to people.”
Yida Gao, Shima Capital
Yida was an official speaker at Binance Blockchain Week — no surprise since he also teaches Crypto Finance at MIT where he had none other than Vitalik Buterin come in as guest faculty once.
Everyone was chasing Yida like crazy, but he was kind enough to take time out for us as NFT3 Advisor and have a chat about the way we can build in this space with longevity in mind. He also has a striking amount of humility for someone so accomplished. Thanks for the time Yida!
Meetings with Investors
We also had a chance to meet many of our investors while in Dubai, and trade insights on the state of the blockchain space in general and of course, NFT3.
We also, of course, got them all to rep $ISME in some amazing NFT3 t-shirts.😜
Met with Ellipti
Ellipti are a powerhouse VC and their founder John Kwak is one of the most polished people you will ever meet.
We discussed many strategic things, and enjoyed the Dubai skyline together.

Met with Gains Associates
Gains Associates are the world’s first decentralized VC. They are famous for their community, and it was a treat chatting with them about the future of media consumption and data monetization.

Our founder Dylan Dewdney is headed to beautiful Miami to spread MetaID far and wide at BTC Miami.
Met with NFT3 Lead Investors Animoca Brands
Dylan has already had a super fruitful meeting with James CK Ho, head of venture investment for Animoca Brands (our lead investor) in Miami. We are looking forward to collaborating in various ways to take decentralized identity (DIDs) to the next level with NFT3!
