NFT3 AMA in Ruby Protocol Community: Recap

NFT3 recently announced a partnership with Ruby Protocol, and on Sept 20th, NFT3 Marketing and Ops Manager Jay Wheeler visited the Ruby Protocol Telegram for an AMA about all things NFT3.
Since it’s been a while since our last AMA, the session ended up being a good coming-up-to-date session for all the progress we’ve been making, and hence we’re sharing the summary of the AMA here as a way to quickly recap all that was discussed in case you missed it. Let’s jump right in:
Introductions
Jay Wheeler, Marketing and Ops Manager
So I’m Jay, and I’m the Marketing and Operations Manager for NFT3.
Originally from a traditional finance background I consider myself a sales and marketing expert, having worked for some of the best IT companies in the space and I have a track record of leading them to success.
I’m also probably whats known in the game as a “Crypto veteran” having been in the game since around 2012. I used to buy and sell BTC from a website called BitBargain, making a few dollars here and there — I thought I’d found a life hack, little did I know the true potential at that point!
As for my work in Crypto, I have extensive project managing and marketing experience having held this role within several start-ups from 2017 onward. I’ve used this mountain of knowledge to accomplish technical and high level marketing strategies over the years and have helped projects drive investment in excess of $30M dollars to date 👌
Intro to NFT3
So if you head over to our website nft3.com, you’ll see our tagline:
“Your NFT3 acts as a unified identity across all Web3 application layers and a pathway toward enabling personal monetization.”
This essentially means that NFT3 will set out to be your gateway to all things Web3. That’s your accounts, your personal details, your logins and much, much more. Not only that, but we will be one of the first to enable monetisation of your own personal data (if you choose to of course) — all in a completely decentralised manner.
The big companies in our lives are doing this and keeping the profits for themselves, we think its time that changed!
NFT3 and Ruby will pave the way in the Decentralised Identity space and we’re honoured to be partnered with a project that shares the same vision for the future 🤝

Well to say we’ve been full steam ahead is an understatement!
We’ve recently sponsored the DeData event in Berlin where our founder Dylan took center stage with none other than the king of privacy himself, Edward Snowden! The video for this will be available across all Social Media platforms over the coming days, believe me, its epic!
We’ve also recently released our NFT3 Fellows programme, where we’ve picked a select few of our loyal members to be a close part of the NFT3 team and give them extra perks in the process!
Development is well and truly underway here at NFT3 with our MVP Alpha just having recently been released to a very small and select group of our loyal following, including the NFT3 Fellows. The feedback has been extremely positive and we’re now pushing on to public Beta testing, this will happen VERY soon!

MVP Details
[Moderator]: Did you just say MVP? Can you give us any more info?

Ha! Well, I could possibly get in trouble for this, but im going to take one for the team! Allow me to fetch some screenshots 👀
Above you can see our prototype that we’ve named “12345.isme”
As with all MVPs, the design and inner workings of the dashboard are still under construction and it features very limited functionality — but the foundations have been built and we’re well on our way to creating our core product. We’re excited!
🐻 Market Talk
Question: As we are in the thick of the inevitable bear market, how do NFT3 plan to tackle this challenging time in Crypto?
Jay Wheeler:
The dreaded B word! Haha!
So the general consensus in the whole crypto space right now is clearly bearish, there’s no avoiding that. Companies that once had multi-million/billion $MC’s are failing, world economics are still feeling the effects of the last 2 years of the pandemic and the sentiment across the board is very low.
People say this is a bad thing. I/we here at NFT3 disagree.
While most others will relentlessly spend all of their treasury funds trying to keep their dead token price above water and ultimately fail, NFT3 will concentrate on rapid development, building a community (that isn’t bots or people just joining a channel for a whitelist spot) and most of all, educating the whole of the web3 space with various schemes and incentivisations.
NFT3s mission over the next few weeks/months/or even years, whatever it may be, is simple. Build, educate and rewrite the rule books on how a real project, with a real use-case should operate in ANY MARKETS!
TGE Expectations
Question: When can your followers expect to see $ISME TGE event?
Jay Wheeler:
Unfortunately its tough to say right now, what we will definitely not do is release our token for the sake of doing so ☹️
While Crypto is still going through its adolescence, token prices have a huge and sometimes detrimental effect of the projects sentiment and credibility. How many promising looking projects have we seen crash and burn purely on the fact that their token price hasn’t performed as well as people expected it to? A lot! NFT3 will not just be another statistic 👌
We will make sure that the token is released firstly when the market is right, and secondly when it makes sense for us to do so as a business.
We understand you’re all excited to get your hand on those $ISME tokens, as are we, but remember guys — “moving fast is not the same as going somewhere”

COMMUNITY QUESTIONS
Question 1: Have you guys have had any audits done to reassure the security of the project?
Safety and security is our mantra here at NFT3. As we don’t have a token yet we don’t have a contract, therefore no audit as of yet. BUT, prior to our TGE will will have rigorous security audits by industry leaders to make sure our code is as iron clad as it can be!
We are also in talks with a hack mitigation protocol for a security partnership, watch this space!
Question 2: Do you allow suggestions and FEEDBACK from the community? Are we allowed in decision making, do you put community into consideration ?
Absolutely we do! Our most loyal followers have been given new titles in our community, they have close contact with the team and are free to voice their ideas and thoughts to the core team members. We’re always on the lookout for more fellows, so feel free to join our TG and get involved with our discussions, you could be next 👀
Question 3: Do you have Whitepaper if yes, please share it with as secondly do you have plans for pre-sale? Now where can we Join it?

As for the pre-sale, this is a closely guarded secret right now! Haha! What I will say is that all early supporters of our project will be rewarded 😉
Question 4: Are you a global project or local project? At present, which market are you focus on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners?
Decentralsed Identity is a global movement, 100%. We will spend our time, efforts and resources on spreading the message of DID to all corners of the globe! Education and partnerships are the key to success and we’re over the moon that NFT3 and Ruby are on the cutting-edge of such revolutionary tech!
Quest 5: According to the roadmap, what is your most important next priority? Do you have enough funds and a strong community to achieve the goal?
So the next checkpoint for us is the Beta test of our MVP, we want you all involved too! This will be followed by the development of N-Credit — Web3’s first credit scoring system!
As can be seen, it was a lively session with a LOT of community questions in the end, and served as a fun way to educate the Ruby Protocol community about NFT3 and MetaID.
