Social media has become such an integral part of our lives so much so that we can’t live without it. With billions of people spending hours on their mobile phones everyday, the question is, how do you leverage social media to get more exposure for your NFT project?

We caught up with NFT artist — Fractalist who is also an avid Crypto enthusiast and 3D artist; to have a chat about his take on the role of social media in the sale of NFTs.

Hey Fractalist, how are you doing?

Hey Gene, thank you so much, I am doing great!

Tell us a bit about the Meta Maxi Foxies Collection and how you got into NFTs.

Sure, Meta Maxi Foxes is a collection of 3D rendered PFP designed in the character of a fox. Each character has a unique story and a special role to play in the Metaverse. The collection is dynamic because some characters are just so funny and sometimes there is a deep meaning behind the subject in the description of the piece as it relates to freedom in Crypto and decentralisation.

I’ve been in the Crypto space for over 5 years and my experience as a 3D artist spans over 10 years. When I first heard about NFTs, I was rather lazy and reluctant to start. It wasn’t until a big name in the industry approached me to design a video clip which he wanted to make as an NFT. That project was my first NFT and first collaboration in the NFT space. After that experience, I dropped 2 Collections which were hugely successful and then I moved to BNB Chain specifically because it is a proof of stake type of blockchain.

In what ways can NFT Artists leverage Social Media?

First of all, you need to find a blockchain that has a strong community.

When you find that community, you can get some help and support from them especially as the internet is built on algorithms and to be able to get noticed in this huge ocean, you need a lot of support otherwise, you’ll pay a lot of money to Twitter.

Which social media platform(s) do you find to be the most effective?

Twitter, Discord, Instagram and sometimes Telegram are the most popular places to find or grow NFT communities. However, the community is more on Twitter and Discord because of the functionality of these websites.

When it comes to social media and NFTs, what’s that one thing you wish you had known earlier?

How to reach out to collectors on social media. You should know how to act in this market as a pro. Before you do something ask yourself, is this a pro act that I am doing?

Are there any trends you think will evolve in the future?

100% Metaverse, Metaverse.

People want to experience new things always. You can see what is going on with the gaming industry and CG, specially real-time development, as a 3d dude I am very bullish on Metaverse.

Thanks for taking the time to chat. We look forward to seeing more exciting drops in the Meta Maxi Foxies Collection.

For sure, as you know all the pieces are individually made and hopefully we are going to make the Metaverse of Meta Maxi Foxes in the future for all the collectors.

Thank you too, was great talking to you
