NFTs by Cryptico: “My Crypto Bitcuits for special moments”

NFT Bunny caught up with artist Cryptico, the creator of the NFTs in the Crypto Bitcuits collection. Cryptico talked about his concept of NFTs.

Cryptico’s NFTs: the Crypto Bitcuits

“Mind your own bitcuits and life will be gravy”, this is the claim with which Cryptico presents his NFT collection of Crypto Bitcuits. Cryptico plays with words (Bitcuits instead of Biscuits), but also with images.

So the famous Nutella Biscuits become Nustellar Bitcuits, in homage to the cryptocurrency Stellar. Ethereum instead lands on ETHoreo, while the digestives become Dogestive, with clear reference to Dogecoin. On each package there is also the logo of the cryptocurrency involved, which becomes part of the cookie, or rather the Bitcuit.

NFTs according to Cryptico

This is how the artist explained his art:

“The creation and uploading of my NFTs is part of a study aimed at better understanding the value, role and evolution of the contemporary image, in a collectible and potentially speculative context.

It would appear that we are talking about the art world … Many words will be spent on this topic in the future.

Possession? Uniqueness? Rarity? Value? Speculation? Beauty? Idea? These aren’t hashtags but questions I’ve been asking myself over the past few months as I’ve thought about NFTs.

I realized that the most important characteristics are quantity, uniqueness, structure, credibility and community. The paradoxical thing is that image is secondary.”

He adds:

“By not understanding these aspects first and not having the time to follow up on at least 4 of these characteristics, my project is doomed to fail.”

With respect to the future, the collection on NFT Bunny is set to expand, as the artist explains:

“I’m waiting for the serial sales mode to be integrated to your platform so that we can upload individual Bitcuits, not in baggies.”

Cryptico NFTs will have to be like real cookies, useful for taking tea in a social moment:

“We would need a project where owning a Bitcuits could be used to access specific events or activities.

As if they were the cookies of tea time. A moment of peace and carefree chatting with friends.”

An evolution that will be interesting to see.
