A brief analysis: the NFTs market in recent days

It’s a very quick (but very good) update

Reddit has arrived in the world of NFTs…

I believe he arrived a little late at the party, mainly because of his type of audience (that is very open to novelties and tends to be early adopters of various technologies). But the important thing is that Reddit came (and brought the cake). Reddit will launch the famous PFPs, which are profile avatars, with images of the social network mascot customized by artists who were discovered on the platform! Sales will be made within Reddit and will work through the Polygon network (accessibility? I like it).

Reddit is doing artist-focused outreach but trying not to mention the word NFT in subs, because it has a lot of users angry about the NFT market and a few others who haven’t entered that market yet. Perhaps, focusing on the benefits of the arts rather than the “status" of the token is, in fact, an excellent bridge to aggregating more buyers.

The Championship was amazing!

The NFTFY Collection Championship ended on Friday. Some really amazing collections and artists were in the championship, such as Introverts, Caramurú, Cryptorastas, Talita Persi, Emonee LaRussa, Carlos Vamoss, Astra, and Uno de Oliveira. The competition was a special edition of NFT.Rio, so we put the collections that were present at the event.

The final phase was on fire: Talita Persi and Cryptorastas. But in the end, Talita Persi took the Championship trophy! I even got in touch with the artist so she can give an interview telling a little more about the history of her art (which is full of incredible references — characters from studio Ghibli to Dragon Ball Z).

OpenSea laid off 20% of its staff

In this bear market we could see many exchanges laying off employees after suffering financial impacts. We must keep two things in mind: the bear market is a period to build, and the bull market is used to plan how the bear market will be. This involves maintaining the staff and continuing with campaigns normally. The focus is on sustainability and not surrender to volatility.

But last week, the marketplace OpenSea announced that one in five of the company’s employees would be laid off. Macroeconomic factors were cited as the main pain points that led to the layoffs. In addition, the company is committed to making a series of efforts to try to support former employees (I won’t comment, I won’t comment, I won’t comment).

Guess who’s back? Back again…

That’s right! Art Blocks is back! The sales soared 300% after its last release. The collection is currently number three on the daily volume charts with over $2.4 million in sales.

Art Blocks NFTs are also ranked sixth on the 30-day charts after their recent performance. The collection recorded a 151% increase in the period, with sales volume rising to $19.8 million.

Cool Cats, here we go!

NFTFY has another Pool open on RockPool! This time it’s one of Cool Cats! The Pool is already making advanced progress (considering the price of the NFT). The choice was based on the community. The collection — in addition to having an amazing illustrator and being something renowned in the market — has a very receptive and engaged community.

NFTFY Twitter Spaces Hits Audience Record!

On Monday, we did a Twitter Spaces with a special guest, Boelter Mc, a rap singer from the Brazilian scene. The subject was the music market on web3, and the event ended up lasting 40 minutes longer than usual. Many other artists in the music scene came in, participated, and shared their opinions. We will do a part two edition to continue with the subject (which was very great).

Well, that was the news from the world of NFTs! So, did you like it? Enjoy and join our community to know more about Open Pools and platform news.
