We are Satoshi
The piece is called “We are Satoshi”: a reflection on the hivemind of a blockchain community, playing around the missing identity of its own father. Or, in the words of the artist, “We are all agents of change. We create and destroy. We construct and demolish. Many of us unite to make possible the future that is becoming our present. Minds from the past and present merging together to shape the upcoming reality. We are all Satoshi.”
About the artist
Will Conrad is a comics books artist with an impressive curriculum, having worked with DC Comics, Marvel, and Dark Horse. It all began with a direct invitation from Stan Lee, chief editor, and CEO of Marvel Comics, for participating in a special project as an illustrator. Now, in 2021, Will celebrates the 20th anniversary of his international career.
Entering a new phase as an artist this year, Will embraced some innovative ideas and merged them with his talent. The result is a series of NFT art pieces, which he’s been releasing since March. NFTFY is now happy to be collaborating with the man, serving as his art gallery.
Collective sale
The auction process will happen through collective sale and purchase, during which any user will have a chance to buy a fraction of the full NFT.
A pool will be made, and anyone can make a deposit. When the initial target price is met, it triggers a countdown allowing others to join. The NFT can be sold for a value higher than the reserve price initially set, and the top 3 contributors will receive 10% each of the “Absent Heroes Collection”, also from Will Conrad.
Each user receives a proportional number of fractions in relation to the pool’s total. The whole NFT will be available for collectors to purchase at a new and higher reserve price. Fractions holders will be able to claim the corresponding percentage of the total amount paid by the collector, which is a great way to diversify your NFT portfolio!
