NFTTalk: NFT Founder Interview –Zouhair El Helou
NFT Founder Series
NFTTalk.space is proud to launch the NFT Founder Interview Series with Zouhair El Helou, known as ZU in his circle of friends.
Who is Zouhair El Helou?
ZU is a self-described antidisciplinary artist who uses installations, sound, photography, digital technologies, and video to research the relationship between perception, ideology, and technology. His artworks have been exhibited in many countries, including Germany, England, Slovenia, Australia, Canada, and Lebanon.
You can find ZU on many social media platforms using his LinkTree link found at the end of this article. But if you want to get a hold of him on TwitterSpaces while he is speaking or hosting spaces, use his NFTTalk profile page below:
ZU’s artwork has been featured in many brick-and-mortar places and digital galleries like voice.com.
Since NFTTalk.space is a Social Audio discovery and analytics platform, we prefer to bring the source of information directly to you from the audio recording of the interview. Here are the questions and answers that were part of the interview with ZU. If you are interested in the full-length space audio of our entire space, see the link posed at the end of this article.
Why do you describe yourself as an antidisciplinary artist?
What are the most significant barriers to building an NFT project?
How did you end up in Colombia from growing up in Lebanon?
Why should an artist not in Web3 consider NFT for their art projects?
What first few steps should artists new to the NFT space consider?
Who are your inspirations in the NFT space?
What do you think of NFT being available on a social media platform like Facebook?
Recently Mark Zuckerburg said the following on his Facebook post:
“We’re starting building for NFTs, not just in our metaverse and Reality Labs work, but also across our family of apps,” Zuckerberg said in a post on Facebook. “We’re starting to test digital collectibles on Instagram so that creators and collectors can display their NFTs.”
What are your general thoughts about this — positive/negative for the NFT ecosystem?
Can you share Twitter handles of some of the top #NFT projects or founders you admire?
What NFT marketplaces do you use to showcase your artwork?

About NFTTalk.space
NFTtalk.space is a Web2 platform that helps NFT projects and founders get discovered on Web2 — Google searches, YouTube videos, and Medium.com posts (like this one). Our mission is to help independent NFT artists, entrepreneurs, and startups get found in Web2 — where most of the world’s internet users go to find information about anything and everything.
By helping NFT projects and founders get found on Web2, we are providing them with a 100% FREE service that can often cost a lot of technical and financial resources. We’re providing this FREE service to the Web3/NFT community as we see Social Audio platforms like TwitterSpaces as an excellent platform for learning and sharing information from our peers and real-world folks around the globe. Our strategic vision is that Social Audio is the next big step toward the true democratization of information and data through decentralized, worldwide discussions and engagements.
People are fed up with spoon-fed information from the big media companies and have found Social Audio as the perfect alternative to share and learn from each other. NFTTalk.space is just one installation of the core technology built by EVOKNOW, Inc — our parent company which has been in the enterprise technology business in Northern California for nearly two decades. With our vast experience in Web2 enterprise technologies, we are confident that we can expand NFTTalk.space to a true Web3 platform in the near future.
