The Rise of NFT Museums 🖼️

Recently, Delta Reality launched a Metaverse museum called The Museum of Digital Life for NFT collectors and enthusiasts to purchase NFTs. Its success has encouraged many traditional museums to explore incorporating NFT collections into their exotic lineup. However, leading art writers believe this integration will take time to come to fruition for several reasons.

As the Seattle NFT Museum prepares to launch in January 2021, the NFT gains momentum. The museum is the first of its kind, and its purpose is to make NFT more accessible to collectors and enthusiasts and promote artists’ digital works.

In addition, The British Museum and La Collection, an NFT platform, have partnered to make traditional arts more accessible by creating NFTs of existing artworks. They intend to auction approximately 200 NFT artworks by Katsushika Hokusai, a legendary Japanese artist.

Finally, BOTS, Inc collaborates with China’s first NFT museum to exhibit digital art pieces from artists worldwide. The Digital Art NFT Museum exhibition, which will launch on May 18, 2022, will leverage BOTS, Inc’s technical expertise.

Odd and Shocking 😱

Last year, a social media influencer released a viral video of herself licking an airline toilet seat. Last week, she announced she hopes to sell the viral video as NFT for $42,000. The sales proceeds will be reportedly used to assist persons who have been afflicted with the coronavirus.

In another bizarre news, Narine Arakenia, an Armenian artist, is selling one of her reproductive eggs as a non-fungible token. This NFT will be sold through her painting “Love, Hope, Live,” which includes an attached contract stating that she will give her egg to the buyer. Shockingly, she desires that a couple buy the NFT and have a child with her fertile egg.
