As ng-conf 2020 quickly approaches, we are eager to announce the opening of this year’s Diversity Scholarship application. This inclusive scholarship opportunity is one of our favorite ways to promote building a strong and unified Angular community.

Each year, ng-conf awards financial help for attending the conference to deserving Angular developers to help support them in their education and professional growth. Our ultimate goal is to foster an inclusive environment where individual differences are understood, respected, and recognized as sources of strength and valued as qualities that enrich the field of programming.

Submission Criteria

The ng-conf Diversity Scholarship is open to all Angular developers who are underrepresented and/or in need of financial support, including, but not limited to, women, LGBTQ+, veterans, and persons of color. All people, regardless of race or ethnicity, who come from backgrounds that would add to the cause of diversity, are eligible to apply.

Submission Process

The Diversity Scholarship application is now available online! Simply fill out the application form by clicking here.

ALL applications are due by 11:59 pm Mountain Time on January 3rd, 2020.

We take the selection process very seriously and carefully evaluate each application. We therefore ask that you please allow us at least two weeks after January 3rd to make any final decisions.

All applicants, regardless of being selected as a scholarship recipient or not, will be notified of your application status via email as soon as possible.

For any additional questions, please email: info@ng-conf.org.

Good luck & we hope to see you at ng-conf 2020!

Want to join ng-conf in supporting our Diversity Scholarship program?

The best way to help us make this opportunity available to as many of our fellow Angular developers as possible is to purchase conference tickets for yourself and/or members of your team.

Portions of ALL ticket sales are put toward the Diversity Scholarship to help make new opportunities possible for those in need.

You can also support the Diversity Scholarship by purchasing as many of our special $50 Scholarship Fund tickets as you’d like. 100% of these tickets go toward the our scholarship program.

Regular tickets are available now for purchase through this link.

Scholarship Fund tickets are available here.

Thanks for your support and for making the Angular community the best there is!
