National Health Care Provider Solutions is working to expand our efforts beyond the English language. With the mission to empower one million people to save a life through the Save a Life Initiative, we recognize that life saving has no language barriers. To begin our first steps in empowering lives of Spanish speaking individuals, we sponsored a CPR and AED training in Spanish with Ruth Diaz on Azteca Wisconsin, hosted by Savealife.com by NHCPS’s non-profit the Disque Foundation.

This short, two and half minute training video covers the basics everyone needs to know in CPR and AED use. It covers compression rate and depth, and the functionalities of using an AED on an adult, child and infant. Television host at Channel 38, Azteca, Ruth Diaz, quickly walks you through the demonstration so you can use these skills if an emergency situation were to occur.

Focusing on Spanish Speaking Life Savers

Further efforts for life saving training material available in Spanish provided by Savealife.com by NHCPS include our application MediCode, practices tests and handbooks.

We encourage you to test your knowledge with the updated MediCode application, which includes interactive practice tests. The MediCode app gives you easy access to all of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) algorithms. It’s a quick and convenient way to start equipping yourself with knowledge that can save lives, and is available in Spanish.

All resources are available for free download!
