Introduction to SafeMoon

SafeMoon has made its name known in the crypto world since it was released in March 2021 with over 2.2 million holders around the world. It is the first cryptocurrency to create a 10 percent penalty for holders if they sell. Out of the 10 percent, 5 percent is redistributed to HODL and the other 5 percent is redistributed to the liquidity pool. There are many more projects that SafeMoon plans to release. In this article, we will go over how to buy SafeMoon using Binance.US. We will use two platforms (Binance.US and Trust Wallet) to do all of our transactions. It will be in three simple steps consisting of buying coins and swapping the coins!

Step 1: Download Binance.US app and Trust Wallet app

First, download the Binance.US app on the Google Play store:

Then, download the Trust Wallet app on the Google Play store:

Create an account in each app. In the Trust wallet app, it is very important that you do not lose your word phrase for it is like your password! In the Trust Wallet app, it does not ask for any verification or identification. If you lose your word phrase, you will never be able to access your Trust Wallet account.

Please keep your word phrase in a safe place!

Step 2: Buy coins with fiat money

Once you have created your accounts on Binance.US and Trust Wallet, you are going to make your first purchase of BNB coins with your fiat money.

On Binance.US: Fiat Money → BNB

Afterwards, you will withdraw these coins to your Trust Wallet account.

BNB (on Binance.US) → BNB (on Trust Wallet)

You will need to copy your BNB received address from the Trust Wallet app. It is very important you copy the right Address from your Trust Wallet account to paste into your Binance.US Received Address field.

Copy Account Address (on Trust Wallet) → Paste into Received Address (on Binance.US)

Lastly, double check your Trust Wallet to make sure you have received your BNB coins.

Step 3: Swap coins

Once you received your BNB coins in your Trust Wallet, you will need to swap your BNB to Smart Chain.

On Trust Wallet: BNB → Smart Chain

Afterwards, at the bottom of the Trust Wallet app, look for DApps. Click DApps and search for PancakeSwap. On PancakeSwap, search for SafeMoon.

On Trust Wallet: DApps → PancakeSwap → SafeMoon

Finally, Swap your BNB (Smart Chain) for SafeMoon.

On Trust Wallet: BNB (Smart Chain) → SafeMoon

Congrats! 🎉 You now have SafeMoon in your wallet! 🎉
