NHS Innovations Update

The Innovations class has now been active for about 2–3 weeks. Throughout that time, we have made new connections, begun blogging, and researched the Israeli/Palestine conflict. We finished up our project the beginning part of this week by summarizing it in a blog. My portion can be found here: https://medium.com/@TheCorbinLong/first-blog-post-8f631abcdc86. Using the time in class this week, I participated in a class discussion about ideas for a fellow students project. The project is to research and prototype a children’s toy that teaches languages. Our entire class got the chance to brainstorm together. Then, the next day, I worked individually with the students to further brainstorm about it. After brainstorming, I worked with another student to try and come up with a project for us to work on. At the moment, we are hoping to incorporate NASCAR into it some how. Overall, I believe that this week was quite productive and a good insight to my next project.
