Choose your font freely with Niagara Pro

In contrast to grid-based launchers, text also plays an important role in Niagara Launcher’s design. Therefore it only makes sense to also give you the power to customize text appearance. With the latest update Niagara Pro members can apply any font to your home screen — Yes, even everyone’s favorite, Comic Sans.

Font: Josefin Sans (not Comic Sans to spare your eyes)

How to use custom fonts

Google Fonts

At first, choose & download a front from the Internet. I recommend Google fonts and dafont, both sites offer fonts for free:

Next, go to Niagara Launcher > Launcher Settings > Look > Text > Font > Custom Font. Now choose your downloaded font file (most likely it ends with .ttf or .otf). That’s it!

Examples

Font: Alte DIN 1451
extravagant Font: Abril Fatface
Font: Josefin Sans
Font: Josefin Sans Medium

Custom font support was added in v0.11.8. If this version is not on Google Play (ETA: Jan 13) yet, you can download the alpha from GitHub:

Have a great week 👋
