Introducing Niagara Launcher’s second pro feature

Android’s status bar displays useful information like the time, important notification, connection status and battery percentage. However, it ruins the immersive experience — without it, your home screen is way cleaner. Take a look:

Status bar & alphabet shown (left) and hidden (right)

Finally, no more duplicate clocks on your home screen! Nevertheless, you may still want to check quickly if do not disturb is enabled or not, for example. No problem, peak at the status bar by scrolling up from anywhere. Furthermore, swiping instead of scrolling (the former means that your finger leaves the screen while performing the gesture) opens the notification tray.

No worries if you still want to see your phone’s battery percentage at all time. Niagara Launcher’s inbuilt At a glance widget just got a new toggle to show it next to the date instead (Niagara Launcher’s settings > Features > At a glance > Show battery percentage).

You can try out these features right now, all you need is Niagara Launcher v0.10.3 and Niagara Pro. After installation, go to Niagara Launcher’s settings > Look > Hide status bar

If it’s not on Google Play (ETA: Dec 15) yet, download the latest version from here:

Did you know that Niagara Launcher is also on Twitter?

This release is part of Niagara’s Weeks of Winter — A new feature every 7 days.

Thanks for reading 😊
