What are MetaPudgys?

MetaPudgys are ERC-1155 editions of Pudgy #4843. To make these editions, Metavault.Trade took Pudgy #4843 and bridged it to Polygon. Then they locked the Pudgy in a smart contract vault on Nibbl to issue 160 ERC-1155 NFT-backed editions of it. These 160 editions are backed by the original Pudgy and were each worth $50 on editionization (pudgy floor price/160 editions).

Each MetaPudgy is a cute Pudgy with olive green skin, a tank top, a pirate hat, and a mint-colored background. An image of Metavault.Trade’s logo is boldly displayed on the pirate hat, while ‘Metavault’ is written on the tank top.

Metavault.Trade made metapudgies on 15th May 2023, then began the giveaway campaign on 23rd May. Their giveaway campaign continued even until the time of writing this article. The editions are being distributed via different campaigns.
After making MetaPudgys, Metavault.Trade distributed these editions to their partners and community members.

After changing their PFP, the community members were also expected to quote tweet a Twitter post writing a one-liner on why they have a MetaPudgy, with the hashtag: #HappyMetavaultAnniversary and #MetaPudgy.

MetaPudgy Meme Contest

Metavault.Trade launched a meme contest to encourage users to create funny memes related to Metavault and Pudgy Penguins. The top four most popular and creative meme submissions were rewarded with MetaPudgys.
