During these complicated days and because of all the changes that our society, our economic system and our nature are going through, the world is facing a global change.However, amidst so much uncertainty and what will perhaps be an unprecedented international economic crisis, there is one sector that will surely endure and emerge strengthened from this historic moment: video games. Since the coronavirus confinement began, and despite the fall in the value of most companies’ shares, world records have been broken on the net.

On March 15, Valve Corporation broke the record for the number of people online at the same time, reaching 20M online players.

In Italy since the beginning of the blockade there was a 70% increase in the use of the network traffic because of games like Fortnite.

The new Warzone COD has been downloaded 15M times in its first 4 days…

Since Nice1 we know that as long as the physical confinement lasts people will tend to go for the virtual approach (video games). Also, everything points to the fact that even people who are less familiar with video games will end up approaching this virtual universe sooner or later.
