Nietzsche is well known for his work on morality and ethics, but he also wrote extensively on the topic of suffering. In particular, he believes that suffering is a greater blessing than we realize.

He explains this in his book “On the Genealogy of Morals”. He claims that when we look at the matter logically, it becomes clear that suffering is good for us.
