Nifty Gateway presents: Secondary Summer Slam

To celebrate our community, we are holding a special three day event, Nifty Gateway Secondary Summer Slam. This event is all about our artists, and supporting a healthy, sustainable secondary marketplace. With that, we will be offering collectors exclusive prizes to encourage participation, as well as rebating the sellers’ fees as an additional perk!

Rewarding our Collectors!

With Nifty Gateway’s seller’s fees rebated, everyone wins during the Secondary Summer Slam; and to take it even further we are going to reward the top 150 collectors based on their USD spend between August 24th 1pm EST and August 26th 1pm EST. Rewards include exclusive nifties made specifically for this event by major artists, a few sought-after nifties, physicals, and, for the first time ever, exclusive Nifty Gateway merch!

Who is supplying the goods?

Fvckrender —
Futuristic tech-digital artist Fvckrender is a self-taught creative working out of Vancouver. With a defining affinity for sharp architectural geometry, beaming future landscapes and brilliant crystalline arrangements, his renders pay a dark homage to what may eventually reflect our very existence.

toomuchlag —
Stefan Mathez is toomuchlag, a Swiss, London-based multidisciplinary visual artist and director. Known for his futuristic works, toomuchlag explores the dichotomy of light and dark, creating iconography that blends the dystopian and the celestial.

Dave Pollot —
Dave Pollot is a New York based artist who is known for his thrift art paintings, taking unwanted artwork and using them to explore his own narrative, touching on topics of pop culture parodies — and in doing so, bridges classic and pop art worlds.

Ted Chin —
Ted Chin is a digital artist and photographer — most well known for his composite art. Ted’s work can be described as a fantasy world with a touch of surrealism, and influences from nature.

Noealz —
Noealz, a photographer living in Seoul, South Korea, makes art using his camera. Drawing inspiration from animation, his work blurs the line between art and reality.

Each collector will receive the corresponding prize of their rank as described:

• Rank 101 to 150: Nifty Gateway nifty and exclusive Nifty Gateway merch, including a hoodie, baseball hat and stickers
• Rank 100 to 76: everything mentioned above, as well as an exclusive Noealz nifty (edition of 100)
• Rank 75 to 51: everything mentioned above, as well as an exclusive Ted Chin nifty (edition of 75)
• Rank 50 to 16: everything mentioned above, as well as an exclusive Dave Pollot nifty and a signed matte velvet rag paper print (both edition of 50)
• Rank 15 to 4: everything mentioned above, as well as a toomuchlag nifty (edition of 15) and a corresponding Infinite Object Frame
• Rank 3 to 1: everything mentioned above, as well as your choice of 1 out of 6 FVCK_CRYSTAL//s (IDs: #467, #468, #877, #878, #1019, #1020). Rank 1 will choose first, Rank 2 will choose second, and Rank 3 will choose third.

Rules

• Top 150 spenders will be decided by USD spend on Nifty Gateway secondary market purchases made between August 24th 1pm EST and August 26th 1pm EST.
• In the unlikely scenario that a tie occurs when the event ends, the collector who has made more lifetime secondary market purchases on Nifty Gateway will win. “More” is based on quantity of purchases, not value of purchases.
• Immediately after the event, the Nifty Gateway team will send out an email to winners requesting shipping and sizing information. Participants failing to provide this information within 48 hours will be subject to disqualification of receiving physical or merchandise rewards.
• Any clear manipulation, collusive activity, or improper usage of multiple accounts by an individual during this contest will result in immediate disqualification. Nifty Gateway reserves the right to disqualify offending users in its sole discretion.
• Any user who purchases the same NFT (same edition number) more than once during the event will only have the first purchase count towards the leaderboard.
