Nifty Gateway x CADAF x OpenSea & the launch of the Nifty Wallet
CADAF will be launching as the first project to use the Nifty Wallet on Mainnet — we couldn’t be more pumped to assist in building the future of art to help get 1 billion people collecting nifties
We’re super excited to announce that we will be assisting OpenSea with the Contemporary and Digital Art Fair this weekend!
At the show, new users who are buying digital art will be able to do so using the Nifty Wallet as well as our purchase functionality.
This is the first project going live on mainnet that uses the Nifty Wallet, and we honestly can’t imagine a better candidate.
We had originally scheduled the Nifty Wallet to be ready for mainnet in ~2 weeks, but we accelerated the timeline and burned a lot of midnight oil to get it ready for the CADAF art show, because they share an important goal of ours — introducing NFTs to a mainstream audience.
The CADAF art festival is going to be attended by a wide variety of people, not just people who are already familiar with MetaMask and crypto currency.
They need an on-boarding experience that takes minutes, not days — exactly what the Nifty Wallet is built for!
About CADAF
Digital art is one of the most promising use cases for NFTs. We’ve really enjoyed working with the a few different digital art projects in the NFT space.
CADAF is ushering in the future of art & technology through a show that will be exhibiting pieces taken directly from the frontier of the art world.

OpenSea is the largest marketplace for digital collectibles, with over 1.2 million digital goods listed.
They also make tools that allow people to easily create their own marketplace for digital goods.
They’re officially powering CADAF’s marketplace and assisting them with the technology behind the digital goods that will be sold at the art show this weekend.

The Nifty Wallet
The Nifty Wallet allows people with no previous blockchain experience to get started collecting NFTs in 3 minutes or less.
Users can sign up for an account, claim a Nifty Wallet and then purchase digital goods using just a credit card. For a new user who has never encountered blockchain technology, the entire process takes under 3 minutes (we’ve tested it).
Once nifties have arrived in a users Nifty Wallet, users can transfer them or call any other on chain transaction with them and pay using fiat currency.
In the case of CADAF, the Nifty Wallet will make it extremely easy for people attending the art show to purchase a work of art.
When they want to purchase, a popup window will open. They’ll be able to claim a Nifty Wallet, pay for the work of art using a credit card and have the work of art sent directly to their Nifty Wallet. They can then call any on chain transaction with their Nifty Wallet and pay with fiat currency.
The Nifty Wallet makes the entire process of collecting blockchain based digital goods as simple as shopping on Amazon. Its a collecting process that doesn’t require crypto currency.
