After the long wait, we are incredibly excited to announce Nifty Gateway’s Drop 5! We are featuring 2 artists: Kenny Scharf and Hackatao. The drop will go live on Thursday, May 28th at 7 pm ET.

Kenny Scharf
Kenny Scharf is one of the most renowned artists in the world. He is a legendary street artist that rose to prominence during the NYC art boom of the 1980s alongside fellow artists Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. This will be Kenny’s first time selling an artwork on the blockchain and it marks an incredible moment in art history of the traditional art world and NFT space coming together. We are honored to have it taking place on Nifty Gateway. His image, price, and quantity will not be revealed until Thursday!
Kenny’s project did not happen overnight, it has been months in the making. His work is all well thought out, expertly crafted, and tells a story. Since we first brought Kenny on, we have been counting down the days until his drop went live and we now have only 2 left!

Hackatao
Hackatao is an art duo formed in Milan in 2007. They are one of the pioneers of the NFT art space and have helped push the space forward by leaps and bounds. For their project on Nifty Gateway, Hackatao is releasing one Nifty titled BearBullish. BearBullish features a character juggling with Bitcoin logos on the balls. Look deeper into it’s mouth, not only will you see its eyes, but also complex design containing words such as Crypto, Nifty, and more.
This is arguably our most exciting drop yet and we hope you are all as excited as we are. Be sure to get there right at 7 pm, the supply is limited and tends to sell out quickly.
