Nifty Wizards Announces First NPC
Nifty Wizards is a text-based role playing game (RPG) on Telegram. Players can earn and win WAX Blockchain NFT’s by competing with other players, performing tasks such as opening a treasure chest or rolling a die. Beginning September 9th, members of the Smoking Lounge will have exclusive first access to the Goblin Grotto where they can take their chances against the fierce goblin known as Uur’lock.
To become a member of the Nifty Wizards Smoking Lounge, a wizard must posses a Pipe in their WAX wallet. There are several benefits to being a Smokers Lounge member as detailed here. So go out and get yourself a pipe and join us!
Non-Playing Character
This is Nifty Wizards’ first NPC and is a major first step in the direction of unique activities and quests for players of the game. It is extremely difficult to defeat the goblin alone. A skilled band of wizards will fare much better against this most heinous creature. The wizard that strikes the final blow will be handsomely rewarded for their efforts.
A wizard may only defeat the goblin once before being muted in the Telegram room (thus unable to fight). The reward for defeating the goblin is a unique non-transferable token (NTT) called the Goblin Boss. And depending on which cut scene (a short animation after the defeat) the wizard sees they will be awarded up to two additional NFT’s. The common and uncommon scene award a random NFT from the Nifty Wizards collection. The rarest scene awards a Severed Goblins Head NFT as well as a rare Nifty Wizards NFT.
To battle The Goblin, a Wizard must posses these items: A Key, a Scroll, a Birth Rune, a Heart, and a Knife. Once those requirements are satisfied, there is one last hurdle — Experience Points. A Wizard must have an XP Score of at least 4,200 to prove that they will be a worthy opponent.
XP can be earned by battling in the Battle Training room and by burning specific Nifty Wizards NFT’s such as Weed and Beer.
