Nifty Football Beta — the Wait is Over!
Nifty Football Beta is finally here and with it, the chance to drive the project forward in our collective vision.
Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you again for your patience; the wait is finally over! Nifty Football Beta has now launched and we are in the process of onboarding our first batch of testers!
The first to play Nifty Football Beta will be those on the whitelist — namely all those who own an OG card or have reached Breakthrough Prospect level in our Discord community. After that we’ll be employing a raffle system to randomly select people from our email sign-up list week by week.

You’ll be sent a link to the platform, you’ll create your profile and then officially enter the Niftyverse, where you’ll be able to play against the computer in league format until the full launch of the game early next year. What’s more, players of Beta will have the opportunity to build a team and a reputation to be reckoned with by the time those randomly-generated players and manager avatars are minted as NFTs.
Nifty Football Beta Wiki
We Community Managers have been playing Nifty Football in its embryonic stages for the last few weeks and we’ll be happy to share with you the few things we’ve learned — just hit us up in Discord of you’re having any trouble. Now that Beta is up and running, we hope to have passionate discussions in our server along with screenshots of successes and dramatic moments, rare-looking players and the craziest manager avatars you can create!
We’ll be sharing tactical knowledge and look forward to being outperformed by the savvy football fans and gamers we’re about to have on board! We’ll have a bug report link on the platform as well as in the Discord, in the hope that we can drive Nifty Football forward as efficiently as possible towards PvP.
Hand in hand with the Beta launch comes the publication of the Nifty Football Beta Wiki, a comprehensive instruction manual on how to play the game.
The Nifty Football development team will continue to work behind the scenes, not just to fix any potential bugs that may be discovered but also to add new features and tweak existing ones. For this reason, the Wiki is an ongoing project and as ever, we’ll be looking to our community to help us improve it with suggestions and feedback.
The Community’s Moment
We’ve been delighted to see a great vibe evolve in our community, that’s kept itself busy and in good spirits over the last few weeks. Now, the launch of Nifty Football Beta is the starting gun for this community to begin defining a vision for the future, to help the game develop and to grow the project overall.
Being involved from the beginning gives our founding members unique insight as well as influence on how things move forward, so get those suggestions brewing in your hive mind!
To aid us in this evolution, we’re offering great incentives in return for thoughtful contribution: XP earned on Discord will be carried over into Nifty Football Beta to help our valued testers get more out of the game and we’ll be setting up a referral and reward system for those who are genuinely passionate about the project.
Stanley Chow and the Nifty Football NFTs
Anyone familiar with the OG cards — the 2,742 collectible player card NFTs minted back in 2019 — will notice subtle differences in the new generation of Nifty players, most obviously the logo. Plans for further collaboration with Manchester-based digital artist Stanley Chow are in the making, with female avatars and even players among the ideas up for discussion.
Even at the Beta stage of Nifty Football, players will surely be generated with extremely rare combinations of visible features, each set to be minted as NFTs in the distant future of PvP!
