In February, we announced that Nifty’s is shifting its product strategy to provide creators with tools for delivering NFT-powered interactivity and experiences. Today we’re announcing several additional updates that will help pave the way for the new version of the platform.
- Current Niftys.com. To make way for the new Nifty’s platform, the current Niftys.com will phase out on Monday, May 22nd. As a result, after that date, any activities currently available on Niftys.com will no longer be accessible. Those activities include the following:
· The Matrix — Red Pill / Blue Pill Challenge
· Game of Thrones — Hero Pack opening
· Game of Thrones — The Forge
· Bullet Train — Briefcase opening
We do anticipate bringing some or all of these activities back with the new platform, but we can’t guarantee timing. So, if you wish to participate in any of those activities, you should do so by the date above.
2. Nifty’s Wallet. Beginning Monday, May 22nd, you will no longer have access to NFTs in your Nifty’s wallet through Niftys.com. You can still access your wallet at wallet.niftys.com or gain access to your assets at reveal.magic.link/niftys. Or to gain full control and authority over your assets, you can export your private keys to Metamask or your preferred wallet. Follow the instructions in the guides below which break down how to do this.

3. Polygon Airdrop. The new Nifty’s platform will support Ethereum and Polygon blockchains. We hope to add Palm support in the future. To give you maximum control over your assets in the meantime, Nifty’s will handle airdropping all assets currently on Palm to your address on the Polygon blockchain. This will allow immediate integration with the new Nifty’s platform when it launches and give you access to popular marketplaces like OpenSea and Blur. The snapshot and airdrop will happen on Monday, May 22nd.
4. Decentralized Media. The new Nifty’s platform hosts all media in decentralized storage. In that spirit, we will move all media for existing Nifty’s projects to decentralized storage as well. We anticipate this shift to happen over time and to be completed by Monday, May 22nd.
5. New Community Pages. As previously announced, Meteor will become the main hub for all communications and future community integrations. Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm is now live and we’re excited to announce the launch of The Matrix Avatars and Looney Tunes: What’s Up Block? community pages. Be sure to sign up so you can explore, engage, and interact with other members of the community in an immersive way!
