An Introduction to the 2019 Annual Data Visualization Survey Results — and challenge!

The data visualization survey has been running since 2017 and it has been an essential mechanism for surfacing the challenges and opportunities that we face as practitioners. This year our executive director, Elijah Meeks, outlines just one theme that he’s seen in the data: a lack of time. Do we have enough time to explore our data? Do we have enough time to craft our work? Do we have enough time to speak with our audience and optimize our designs?

His article not only ruminates on this but also acts as an invitation for everyone to explore and share their findings… in our next Data Visualization Society challenge! So please take a look at the rules and then dig into the data below! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
