If you type “How to be sexy” into Google, the following steps appear:

  1. Maintain good hygiene.
  2. Take good care of your body.
  3. Eat foods that make you feel sexier.
  4. Wear sexy underwear.

Well I don’t know about you, but I do all of these things. I shower once a day — sometimes twice. I moisturise. I eat ice cream (as it makes me feel sexy) and I wear sexy underwear…occasionally. So, according to Google….I’m sexy?

Being sexy, in my book however is a lot more difficult than just following these 4 steps. It’s a mindset with more of an emphasis on your mental confidence as opposed to a reliance on your physical appearance.

Some people naturally have a predisposition for sexiness. For me, the embodiment of ‘sexy’ is Emily Ratajkowski who oozes it so effortlessly but for me on the other hand..it’s something that I have to work on.

Future Wife.

If it was the case of just spraying Victoria’s Secret Eu So Sexy perfume life would be so much easier, but instead it’s about not only channelling your inner Alexis Ren but embracing yourself both mentally and physically.

Being Sexy is about:

Preparation.

It’s about preparing your mind by embracing, acknowledging and appreciating yourself for who you are in order to allow for your inner confidence to shine through.

It’s about preparing your body physically by caring for yourself. Whether that be taking the time to work out or eating your favourite foods that make you feel amazing or shaving all your hair from your neck down because you just adore returning back to your foetal, hairless state — do the things that make you look and feel your best.

Queen B Confidence.

Clothing.

Clothing promotes sexiness. You can instantly feel sexy when you put on your best fitting jeans or that dress that clings to your figure and accentuates your curves. It’s about wearing things that make you feel good and pleasing yourself.

So sexiness, for me, is about acting on the things above to embrace your interior and exterior. It comes when you care for yourself. It comes when you appreciate who you are and it comes when you show the confidence to embrace yourself.

Channel your inner ‘You’ and do what makes you feel good and ‘sexiness’ is sure to follow.
