The Role of Earned Points (EP) in Nilo’s Ecosystem
In this article, we’ll delve into the concept of Earned Points (EP), why it was created, and how it enriches your Nilo experience.
Earned Points (EP) stand as a testament to our commitment to fair gaming in the Nilo ecosystem. These points are exclusively accumulated by your secondary Nilo, even when it’s not actively in use. Let’s explore how this unique feature adds a layer of fairness to the Nilo experience.
EP and Nilo Avatars:
In the context of Nilo avatars, Earned Points (EP) come into play when your secondary Nilo avatars, stored in the Nilo app’s inventory, contribute to the gaming ecosystem. This ensures that even inactive avatars can actively participate in the Nilo community.
Key Criteria for Earning EP:
To participate in the EP system, users must meet specific criteria, ensuring a fair and balanced distribution of points. The primary requirements include:
- Possession of Two or More Nilos:
- EP is designed to promote diversity in Nilo collections. Users must own a minimum of two Nilos to unlock the EP feature.
2. Secondary Nilo at Level 20 (Adult Nilo):
- The secondary Nilo, kept in your inventory, must reach level 20 to be eligible for EP.
3. 50% BXP Transfer:
- EP is directly tied to the performance of your primary Nilo. The secondary Nilo earns 50% of the Brushing Experience Points (BXP) acquired by the primary Nilo during brushing session.
Example: If the primary Nilo earns 100 BXP, the secondary Nilo will receive 50 EP.
Benefits of Earned Points (EP)
- Fair Gameplay:
- EP introduces an element of fairness by rewarding users for investing time and effort into developing both their primary and secondary Nilos.
2. Prevention of Abuse:
- The EP system prevents potential abuse by requiring users to actively engage with and nurture multiple Nilos. This ensures a balanced and genuine approach to accumulating points.
3. Strategic Collection Building:
- Users are encouraged to strategically choose and level up their secondary Nilos, adding depth and complexity to their NFT collection strategy.
4. Community Building:
- EP builds a community among Nilo users by encouraging players to work together and share tips on how to make their Nilo collections better for earning the maximum EP.
How EP Works
Let’s break it down with a scenario involving three users:
SCENARIO 1
After a brushing session,
- Primary Nilo earned 100 BXP.
- Secondary Nilo earned 50 EP (50% of Primary Nilo’s BXP).
Having an adult Nilo in the inventory lets you earn EP.
SCENARIO 2
After a brushing session,
- Primary Nilo earned 100 BXP.
- No secondary Nilo, resulting in zero EP.
To earn EP, it’s essential to have two or more Nilo avatar in the inventory.
SCENARIO 3
After a brushing session,
- Primary Nilo earned 100 BXP.
- Non-adult Nilo, resulting in zero EP.
EP is not earned when a non-adult Nilo is in the inventory.
In this innovative approach, we’re enhancing the Nilo experience by incorporating EP into the weekly NLT distribution.
Calculating Total Points:
For each user, the total points are determined by adding BXP and EP.Calculating NLT Distribution:
The NLT for each user is calculated by dividing their total points by the sum of the total points for all users.
In conclusion,
Earned Points (EP) marks a major advancement in NFT gaming, bringing diversity, fairness, and strategy to the forefront in the Nilo ecosystem. By embracing EP, users can enhance their brushing experience and unlock the full potential of their Nilo collection.
