Many people throughout the world are unable to participate in running a full node due to a lack of knowledge or lack of resources. Furthermore, the space needed to run a full node is more than often 200GB+ and the syncing process itself can be tedious, ultimately costing the user time, money, and sanity.
Today, we are excited to introduce the nimbleNODE (https://nimblenode.io): the most portable, affordable, and nimble way to run a full node from anywhere in the world. nimbleNODEs are lightweight, wi-fi compatible devices that are the size of your favorite biscotti. This device provides an entry point into crypto in just a few easy steps without requiring any coding experience, all for the affordable price of $119, or $89 if you preorder. As nimbleNODEs are full nodes, these devices are also amongst the most secure hardware wallets in the entire world; you’re the only one who can ever access the device.
The first iteration of this miniature hardware device will support 6 different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bithereum, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, and Bitcoin Gold. We will be adding many more coins based on feedback from customers and demand, and plan to support every single major blockchain in the crypto-verse. Simply put, nimbleNODEs are the quickest and easiest way to run a node via its sleek mobile application interface. Every nimbleNODE is pre-imaged with a pruned blockchain of whichever coin the customer chooses, in just under 8GB, and ready to instantaneously run out of the box. Just plug it in, go through our easy setup, and start running your node! A nimbleNODE device can fit in the palm of your hand and is meant to be taken anywhere and everywhere. To check up on your node remotely, simply download our mobile application, and connect to your nimbleNODE via wi-fi.
Mobile App Overview
The nimbleNODE app, which everyone will communicate with their device through, is sleek, intuitive and secure. It allows you to track your balance at all times as well as receive crypto; the app will also have the ability to send crypto. All you as the user has to do is download the app, connect to the nimbleNODE via wi-fi, make sure they’re within 10 feet of the device, and get started upon reaching 100% sync status.
Once you are fully set-up, you will have the ability to store as well as send/receive funds from your device, even remotely. nimbleNODE has end-to-end encryption and you can send commands from your mobile device directly to your node from anywhere in the world, making it the most accessible full node device on the market. Furthermore, nimble also provides the ability to customize SSID/Passwords to create a secure VPN-like network.
How to Order
We have officially begun Pre-Orders for nimbleNODEs; the pre-order discount window will go up until shipments begin, with shipments currently slated to begin sometime in October. When your order has been processed you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for your nimbleNODE. Once payment has been received your nimbleNODE will be shipped. Depending on where you are located, shipping can take anywhere from 1–2 weeks.
In the meantime, anyone interested in BTH, BTC, ETH, BCH, BSV, or BTG nimbleNODEs can sign-up for our pre-order waitlist, and will be the first ones notified upon payment acceptance for these devices, as well as receive a $30 discount. You can also join nimbleNODEs official Telegram to receive new updates instantly as they are announced including being notified about the start of order placement.
Also note, pre-orders DO NOT require any deposit; once the window has closed, everyone who pre-ordered will receive an email afterwards as well as be notified in whatever other communication avenues they provide, in order to pay for the device. Upon payment, the device will be shipped and the customer will receive a tracking number. Those who fail to complete their pre-order payment within the two week window to do so, will not receive shipping priorities. Once shipping begins, anyone will be able to purchase a nimbleNODE from the site immediately for the price of $119.
Moving Forward
The vision of nimbleNODE is grand to say the least, and you can expect that many of the major blockchains and coins will also be coming to this device in the near future. Ultimately, the vision is to create a massive, coin-agnostic full node ecosystem consisting of many cryptos while also creating a means of exchange between everyone in the nimbleEcosytem.
Each blockchain supported by nimbleNODE will also receive their own differentiation factors based on their features in the future; for example, Ethereum nimbleNODEs will foray into staking for ETH 2.0 as well as integration with deFi apps. The same will apply for various other chains.
