Beyond the Ordinary
You know what’s strange?
Going back to being normal again,
I don’t like normalcy.
I don’t like to be the same.
I want to be different, lost,
Lost in something, with someone.
The adrenaline, my body’s craving,
Not to stay still, not even a bit,
Not to feel the mundane, the plain.
Just moving on, until the end,
The end is what I yearn to see.
What lies between seems so baseless,
A blur of sameness, void of essence.
Seeking something beyond the usual,
A path untraveled, unconfined.
In this journey, untamed and restless,
I seek the thrill that comes with the undefined.
For it’s in this relentless pursuit,
In the embrace of the unknown,
That I find my truth, my absolute,
In the unordinary, I find my own.
