[9C M] Introducing ‘Heimdall’, a new chain for Nine Chronicles M

Nine Chronicles M is set to unveil a brand-new chain, ‘Heimdall’ upon the mobile release in a few weeks!
The new chain draws inspiration from Heimdall, the guardian of the mythical Bifröst, a rainbow bridge connecting the realm of Asgard to the world of humans, Midgard. This is an exciting milestone for us and we hope you guys are excited as well!
Why we decided to build Heimdall
There are many reasons but on a high-level it boils down to:
- Increase the volume of transactions processed in Nine Chronicles M
- Enhance gaming experience for users
- Explore various game policies and balancing
By providing two separate chains, Nine Chronicles M will be able to cater to the diverse gaming preferences of the community, ensuring that users enjoy the game in a way that suits them best.
The strategic separation of Odin and Heimdall provides both new and seasoned players a chance to embark on a fresh adventure — a level-playing field — via ‘Heimdall’ while existing users can preserve and continue their journey within ‘Odin’.
Also, please keep in mind that if you’re currently playing Nine Chronicles via PC, then many of the existing PC-based actions, assets and gameplay will remain bound to the ‘Odin’ chain currently available on PC.
Can I play my Odin character in Heimdall and vice versa?
For those eager to explore both realms, it’s important to note that in-game characters from Odin and Heimdall will remain bound to their respective chains, ensuring that the unique character of each exciting realm is preserved.
This means there won’t be an option to switch between ‘Odin’ and ‘Heimdall’ characters. For example, characters from ‘Odin’ will only be playable in ‘Odin,’ and the characters created in ‘Heimdall’ will only be playable within ‘Heimdall.’
On the flip side, Nine Chronicles M enthusiasts making the transition from mobile to PC version will be able to carry their characters seamlessly across the two platforms as long as the characters are in the same chain.
For example, users will be able to play characters from their PC-based Odin chain in the mobile Odin chain, which allows them to enjoy the game on both PC and mobile.
