Hi guys, it’s Jenny again

A beautiful day in the middle of New Year Event and I’m here sitting on the couch seeing how people are celebrating this biggest event when surfing the Internet.

Interestingly, I notice two things that most of people care about at the beginning of the year: what to do in this year and how to do it. I really understand that feeling when we’ve just entered a “new year”, the word “new” create the desire to renew ourselves. And you know it. We make something called New year Resolution.

However, just 8% of us actually nail it at the end of the year.

I work in a company that provides productivity tools so I’m approaching customers everywhere to know what they really want and provide them with that. I find that the most common problem is that most of us don’t know how to organize a productive day (which to do first and next), how to track your habits and goals to self-analyze our improvement and how to make self-motivated. And to be able to do it over the year, it’s kind of impossible. That’s why we fail.

So after many days of thinking, I’ve made a Vision Board Printable called “2018- my shining year” to run as a giveaway campaign for my company, here is my method:

The vision board has 12 small pieces which I suggest to make like this order:

  • First, it’s the Cover, I’ve made it really “shinning” to motivate myself everyday of the year.
Cover
  • Next, the About Me (from A-Z) page, some lines about myself of course. Things that define me. Remember to write the words that start with each letter (It’s interesting I think)
About me
  • The page “Things that I would tell my younger self” to write what I learned from failure, something that I regret not to do so I can improve it in the future.
Things that I would tell my younger self
  • Move to the page “Last Year Farewell”, it’s time to say goodbye to the last year. I would write my achievement, challenges, and things to let go in the last year to say goodbye and move to the new year.
Last Year Farewell
  • Next is to define the keyword for my new year in the “New Year Keyword”page. Choose the word that symbolizes and defines my year and stick to it.
New Year Keyword
  • The important “Vision Board” is here. There are 6 things that I will list out here: Me (personal life) and my family, Friends and community, Works and Studies, Finance, Physical & Mental Health, Possessions.
Vision Board
  • Next 2 pages are the “Targeted Goals” and “Wish list”. Write every goals and wishes I want to achieve and remember to keep track of it during the year.
Targeted Goals
Wish list
  • During a long year, it is necessary to have something to inspire and motivate me to achieve that goals so I made 2 pages “Inspiring quotes”and “100 things that make me happy”, I can look at it and feel ready for the next task.
Inspiring Quotes
100 things that make me happy
  • The “Highlights” page which will help me to write down and remember all the memorable moments during the year. Maybe what I’m grateful for…
Highlights
  • Finally, at the end of the year, fill in the “This is new me” page to summarize what I’ve done, achieved during the year and ready to the next year.
This is new me

That’s all about my idea for making the vision board. I believe this method will work if it is printed out and I can see and track it everyday.

I’ve built a landing page for Free Download of all the pages I designed. If you want you can take a look of it and download to fulfill your 2018. Here it is.

If you have any suggestions or instructions, feel free to comment below or email me at jenny@nirow.me.

Hope my method is helpful for you. Let’s make the best year ever.
