3 Reasons to Read Career on Course

This post is a review of Scott Miller’s latest book titled Career on Course.
The book outlines 10 strategies to ensure you are always in control of your career and able to tackle the vagaries of workplace, our evolving life priorities, market conditions and opportunities.
Since I want to refrain from adding spoilers, I want to share three quotes that resonated deeply with me. I highly recommend reading the book and completing the exercises in order- it will be quite eye opening and inspiring.
Without further ado, here are 3 fabulous pieces of advice that I loved in the book:
#1 Take Control
A powerful reminder to all of us that we need to be deliberate and purposeful in our efforts and assessment of our careers. The author states it aptly and I found it quite stirring.
#2 Don’t Be Hasty, Don’t Shirk Action
If ever was a conundrum, then it was this line. We should be wary of both hurtling into action with nary a thought yet not succumb to analysis…
