This post is a short list of why I am recommending the book Happier Hour.

  1. It teaches about crafting an ideal week with space for mandatory and fun tasks. And the strategies to design an intentional schedule and life that mimics this ideal version.
  2. It teaches about time poverty and time affluence.

3. It has amazing notes section full of even more fascinating reading.

4. The acknowledgments alone had me rooting for the book and author.

5. The exercises and apt quotes make for inspired reading and reflection.

For instance, this quote by Abe Lincoln:

Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

I definitely encourage reading this book. And if you have, what did you think? Share your thoughts and takeaways in the comments below.
