This post is a response to Ann Venkataraman’s prompt for Day 3 (yesterday) of the CampNanoWriMo challenge. Similar to the original Camp NaNoWriMo challenge, the premise is to write 30 posts. Day 3 is to write an A to Z article on a topic , such that you have an item pertaining to the chosen topic for each alphabet.

For my response, I have chosen to write about the traits and mindsets I see in highly successful people, from world leaders to my mentors to inspiring role models based on my experience.

  • Attitude decides your Altitude- they live by this credo and keep a good attitude always
  • Brave and Bold- they make things happen! After all, fortune favors the bold!
  • Connecting the Dots- a skill honed by practice and cultivating diverse networks — people and ideas, they are able to use convergent, divergent and extrapolating lenses as necessary to view things in novel ways or to envisage processes in disruptive ways.
  • Doing the Right Thing
  • Effortful- put in more hard work to crush the competition and inspire followers. They follow the mantra: Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
  • Face Failure as Stepping Stone to Success. Easy to say…
