Hola!

It’s a beautiful Saturday morning and here I am immersing myself in a tiny learning experiment.

As an Asian mom, I have of course enrolled my child in multiple extra curricular activities. But since I do like to practice what I preach, I am also becoming a student. At what?

Spanish!

I have decided to learn 3 words every single day. At this rate, in a year I can master most used 1000 words. Not a ton but definitely calls for determination, consistency and self motivation. All traits I am trying to instill in my kids.

Disclaimer:

To some folks, this might seem too low a bar but, I do have a straddle this while fulfilling the the responsibilities of parenting, being a full time employee, and mentoring.

Words learned on Day 1-

Hola!

Gracias

Por favor

Day 2:

Buenos dias

Buenos noches

Bien

Day3:

Mi gusta (I like)

No mi gusta (I don’t Like)

Adios

Day 4:
