Another week and it’s Daylight Savings here in the United States. And that means we gained an hour. Or in my case rose lamenting that my children woke me up horribly early on the one Sunday we did not need to rush anywhere!

But I digress.

New Sunday means sharing Ideas, Book Recommendations and Prompt for the week ahead! Without further ado, here we go.

IDEA

Today’s idea is from Laura Vanderkam’s book Tranquility by Tuesday.

3 times a week is a Habit

If you consistently do an activity a minimum of 3 times a week, it is indeed a habit. So, shoot for this cadence to build a new routine or habit. It’s easier to sustain and stokes that streak that we all are psychologically wired to keep up no matter what.

BOOK RECCO

The book I am recommending today is Agatha Christie’s Cards on the Table. While it’s a fiction written decades ago, the story is gripping and a masterclass in psychology and critical thinking Give it a read!

WRITING PROMPT

With NaNoWriMo in full swing, I would love to remind everyone to please give it a try. The regional leaders share several prompts and tips to get those creative juices flowing, so be sure to check them out.

With much love and inspiration,

Niru
