The Road to 650 — new writing goals

This post marks my 629th post. Yes, I am keeping track because it’s important to Measure what Matters.

Current and Future State

At press I stand at 629 posts including this one.

At my current rate I will get to 640 posts by the end of the year at a rate of 3 posts per week. This does assume maintaining my weekly output.

But to reach my goal of 650 posts by December 31, I need to post 5x per week which is close to doubling my output.

And of course, why not?

I want to start the new year on a nice rounded number and this would be fabulous.

The Plan

At 5 posts a week, expect the following

• Minute Mentoring on Mondays
• Thankful / Gratitude posts on Thursday
• Sunday Snapshot at the end of the week
• One weekly reading wrap or review on Wednesday
• Single piece on leadership or Tools on Friday.

This open ended one is always the hardest to craft but it does allow me to experiment and identify what resonates as my audience grows.
