A bright new Monday and we’re all prepping for a successful week ahead.

Today’s inspirational advice is on the theme of Time. With July drawing to a close, what better than to reflect on how to guard our time?

I am often telling people about how I batch tasks, mindfully club physical and mental chores, (hello Coursera while folding laundry) capitalize on time confetti, and more to ensure I maximize my time. It’s allowed me to work full time, mentor part time, earn an MBA , all the while raising a young family and managing to sneak time for my reading habit.

While it boils down to tweaking habits over time, and constantly learning new ones and examining my process based on my evolving life, the underlying principle is not discipline or willpower. It’s merely an awareness that time is both fleeting and precious. I need to use it wisely.

That’s why I love this lien from John Inscoe- it encapsulates that thought precisely.

How about you? Do you regard your time as a gift and budget it accordingly? What are some measures you take to stretch the time you have and balance ambition with responsibility? Let me know in the comments.
