Wound up
You have been wound up in your thoughts. Be aware not to wind your wheel so tightly.
It is important to let your mind breathe, and let go.
It is important to free your mind from thoughts.
It is easy to create thoughts that do not correlate to the moment of Now.
It is easy to project feelings and/or emotions toward somethings that have not happened yet. Those things may never happen, at all.
You have set in concrete the definitions of who you are.
Yes, there is a baseline of who you are. Remember though, in order to learn, we must color outside of our own lines and have new experiences. We can not grow if we are not willing to take the risk.
It is easy to grow comfortable in our garden. It is peaceful there. It is safe there. We plant our seeds and tend to their growth. I know this holds great value. Yet, it is okay to just let the garden grow, and tend to new things. New experiences. It is okay to just let the garden grow.
Listen to your heart, rather your mind. Your mind has become a safe place, but your heart wants to run wild and free. Your heart is full of imagination. It is where your poetry comes from. The poetry can not flow freely if you are unable to risk a new experience, a new lesson. You are free to roam.
Take a risk. Just do it. Whether it be busking with your instrument in the sun out in the public, whether it be to ask a new person to spend time with you, whether it be to try a new food, just take a risk. All unfolds accordingly, and the results are not important. What is important is that you have learned something new about yourself.
You are not the only person that has something to bring to the table. Let someone sit down with you, at your table, their table, or just an unknown table. I guarantee all persons will learn something new.
Just for today, take a risk. That is what life is, trials and experiences, lessons and growth.
Your comfort zone is getting uncomfortable.
Just for today, do what you feel. Try not to project how you will feel.
Just be.
