Watch: the Face of Homelessness in New Jersey

This NJ Spark original video looks at homelessness in New Jersey through the eyes of Brian. Through a very personal narrative, Brian explains how he survived when homeless, from showering in the gym to finding safe places to sleep. While he was homeless, Brian became part of a the Garden State Leaders program which is “designed to build advocacy and leadership skills among those who have direct experience with homelessness and poverty.” The Garden State Leaders program is run by the New Jersey Coalition to End Homlessness and the Anti-Poverty Network of New Jersey.
