Fulfillment

This journey of life is both fulfilling and exhausting. Over the last 10 years I’ve been able to experience new heights and accomplishments as well as pitfalls and loses that I could have never fathomed while in HS or college

Acknowledging & accepting this reality of life has motivated me to use this time to do more inner deep dives. I want to discover any self inflected challenges that may be taking joy away from my high moments or making my preceived losses bigger than what they really are

I discovered some knots that need untangling:

  • Being too critical of myself
  • Overlooking my achievements
  • Focusing my attentions on targets that were never apart of my plan
  • Letting ego get in the way of my free flowing creative nature
  • Waiting for others to acknowledge my accomplishments

The great thing is that these are all hurdles that I have total control of and can overcome. The first step was having the resolve to dig and identify these as self inflected hurdles and the next step is having the mental discipline to address each one head on

I hope this reflection resonates with anyone else seeking fulfillment out of life especially during these trying times. Being able to mitigate the perceived losses and covert them into lessons will allow for a life that overruns with fulfillment. That’s my goal for the next 10 years and beyond
