Keith Jones II: “Bring your own flavor to it. You don’t have to fit into the mold of what you think…a politician is.”

On episode three, we spoke with the multi-faceted Keith Jones II, a community organization specialist for the City of New Brunswick and a civic leader in the Middlesex County.

We were able to sit down with Keith at New Brunswick City Hall. Prior to getting into government and politics, Keith had substantial experience in music and fashion. Keith was really thoughtful in the songs he picked and the commentary he provided. We talked about how Dr. Dre is one of his favorite producers and how he was inspired by President Obama to go into public service. He also gives us his thoughts on getting mentors, networking, and being authentic in the political sphere.
