The New Kind call to adventure
We love a good adventure. And we think the right clients for New Kind do too. So we design all of our projects intentionally
as collaborative adventures, participatory stories to be experienced and enjoyed.
Just because it is work doesn’t mean it has to seem like work. What separates us from other agencies, what makes us New Kind and not old kind, is that we believe that the participatory experience is one of the things a client is buying when they decide to work with New Kind.
We not only create artifacts — like logos, messaging guides, and brand stories — but we shape cultures. Our clients are often facing the unknown, inventing or re-inventing their organizations. Through our work, we create or nurture opportunities for them to play leading roles in the adventure of creating the future of their organizations.
A community catalyst is what we call a New Kind employee.
Community catalysts inspire communities of people to achieve more than they could without our help.
A community catalyst sparks a reaction within an organization that continues even when the catalyst is no longer there.
In this way, we can have a large and lasting impact — even as a small organization.
Being a community catalyst is infectious. Once we show people through our actions how to be a community catalyst, they can often become one in their own organization.
Eventually we hope to inspire a tribe of community catalysts all around the world, leading adventures of creating the future within their organizations and communities.
